As some of you may know, we currently have DJs playing Latin, Cumbia, Jazz, and Soul on the patio Wednesday and Thursday nights. Wednesday night is hosted by DJ Salazar (his funk/soul, exclusively vinyl show “Dynamite,” which he co-hosts with DJ Topspeed, at Mass Ave. Pub every Sunday night is one of the best DJ acts in the city), while Thursday belongs to DJ Dicky Foxx (Mike Graves, also of the Born Again Floozies, as well as talented painter and graffiti activist).
Both DJs start at 9 p.m. and play until 11 p.m. It’s a great time, with plenty of room to dance around, drink tequila and craft beer. Plus, we start late enough that the summer evening weather is actually enjoyable.
On top of our weekly DJs, we’d like to have other acts play on special days, to coincide with events we like to throw from time to time: Beer events, Tequila tastings, Mexican holidays, and so forth.
This month, look forward to The Reach Arounds, a feel good group of guys, playing laid back rock, perfect for nice nights in front of a pitcher of margaritas and the company of your amigos.
If you or anyone you know would like to submit a request to play the patio, feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. And I will do my best to respond to those curious in performing.
Thanks! And come out and join us for some music this week. We’d love for you to bust a move or two with us; we’ve heard your dancing is marvelous.
