The Fourth Annual Bell’s Patio Party featuring the Reach Arounds
Thursday, June 11th at 6 p.m.
Seven lines of Bell’s beer and live music on the patio from the Reach Arounds. Our annual Bell’s al fresco event is always one of our most popular summer soirees.
The list this year is another great one, too.
Pouring from draught: Two Hearted, Oberon, Amber, Deb’s Red Ale, Quinannan Falls Special Lager Beer, The Wild One, and Special Double Cream Stout.
Jolly Pumpkin + Central State Brewing
Thursday, June 18th at 6 p.m.
Two breweries, all the wild yeast. Jolly Pumpkin, out of Michigan, and Central State, our Indy homies, will be along to showcase some of their finest funked and soured offerings, including three from Central State and Jolly Pumpkin’s latest series of La Roja-based beers:
Rojzilla (7.4% abv) is a Michigan Sour Biere. Aged for a year-and-a-half in a 100-bbl oak foudre before being blended with a few “normal” size barrels of varying ages to create a complex, mellifluous combination of flavors and sophistication.
La Roja du Kriek (7.5% abv) is a Sour Amber Ale with Michigan Cherry Juice. This is what happens when 3100 gallons of 2013 La Roja meets 50 gallons of Michigan tart cherry juice, aged in oak barrels and bottle conditioned – a perfect blend of sour and tart joie de vivre!
Friday and Saturday, June 19th and 20th from 5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.
A cocktail tour through four of downtown’s historic districts. Mixture, in its first year, will feature over 20 bars, including La Margarita. Attendees will receive a cocktail passport and be able to use it for a sample cocktail at each location. One evening we will be showcasing a Centinela Reposado tequila margarita. The other, we will be pouring a Langley Gin gimlet. For more information and tickets: Indianapolis Mixture 2015
